Always report abuse and work through accepted processes

We are not an investigative authority or designed to advise on cases, legal matters, or investigate allegations of child abuse. If you suspect abuse, call 911 in an emergency or call the Indiana Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-800-5556.

Here’s how you can use, help, and meet your nearest child advocacy center

Nearly all CACs in Indiana are nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations. CACs are always in need of donations in time, money, and supplies.

Refer to the list of Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) in Indiana below to find help, donate, or volunteer near you. Contact them directly to arrange contributions.

Common needs include:

  • Easel paper
  • DVD-Rs
  • Snacks and bottled drinks
  • Monetary donations for use on technology, ink, etc.

No CAC can accept “walk-ins”. All appointments must be referred to the CAC from law enforcement or the Indiana Department of Child Services.
